RssCloud

RssCloud is a new format specification for feed solves the problems of voting and reporting. It works by adding an element of clouds to a sequence that describes the path to a server cloud to be notified when a feed is updated. The server cloud, in turn, send the current content of the feed to all subscribers and aggregators. A description of this process in rssCloud site.

The protocol was designed by Dave Winer, who also wrote the original specification and RSS pioneer in the use of food as a way to add content. RssCloud allows channels to respond in real time. Instead of a model of voting ( "Are we there, we're still here"), pushes the updates and notifications of updates to users through a server cloud and APIs.
